• The covering gives protection from the wind, hail, intense sunlight and soil erosion which cannot be controlled in open fields;
   

• The covering physically prevents pest, wildlife and insects from attacking the fruits and vegetables;
   

• Allows year round growing rather than being locked into seasonal and a single growing cycle;
